On Tap is inspired by the iconic Old Style hanging signs that are seen on bars all over the city. Since they all went up at different times, there isn't one universal style of letters used on these signs, so this font includes my best representation of what you might see on any given sign throughout Chicago. Common phrases seen are "On Tap," "Cold Beer," "Cerveza Fria (Spanish)," "Zimne Piwo (Polish)," and "Package Goods."
